Do you own small numbers of shares that you consider to be of little value to yourself? You could donate them to the share donation charity ShareGift.

ShareGift is an independent charity, operated by the Orr Mackintosh Foundation (registered charity number 1052686) which specialises in accepting donations of small holdings of shares. They collect these shares until they have enough to sell and donate the funds generated through this work to other UK charities, including Kidney Research UK.

Quite often, small quantities of shares can cost more to sell than they are worth, but by collecting these uneconomic small parcels of shares into saleable amounts, ShareGift is able to use these wasted assets for charitable benefit.

There is no charge to you or Kidney Research UK for using ShareGift.
