There have been many crucial advances in kidney disease research since Kidney Research UK was founded in 1961. We owe these advances to the work of doctors, nurses and scientists, as well as the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries. However, this research is expensive and Kidney Research UK is committed to raising more revenue to help fund it.
