Team from Solihull Council take on Stratford Half Marathon

A team of eight friends from Solihull Metropolitan Council took part in the Stratford Half Marathon on 29th April. They wanted to support Kidney Research UK as one of their colleagues received a kidney transplant in 2004.

She inspired them to fundraise so more research could be done to understand kidney disease. The team have raised over £1,000 for research that will save lives. The team of runners from the finance department at Solihull Council consisted of Jean Palmer, Ian Murray, Diane Linekar, Simon Outhwaite, Tom Leonard, John Robinson, Ben Cochrane and Simon Bentley.
