What easier way could there be to raise funds for research than to put on your walking boots and join us for a stroll? After all, walking is the nation's number one hobby! Our walking events range from walking around country estates, to seeing the sights of London to even walking to the top of Ben Nevis. Edinburgh Bridge Walk - Edinburgh, Scotland - Sunday 22nd June 2008Enjoy the best views in Fife and the Lothians by walking over Edinburgh's famous Forth Road Bridge. The walk is about 3 miles long and should take approximately 1-2 hours. See the picturesque scenery of Fife and the Lothians, the beautiful coastal towns of North and South Queensferry, the daily marine traffic of the Forth River and Port Edgar and, of course the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. Last years Edinburgh Bridge walk was our first on the bridge and over 350 people took part helping us raise over £10,000 for life saving research. Please register and take part this year and help us make the 2008 walk even more successful.
