Delfouneso said he aims to raise awareness and funds for the treatment of kidney disease.

And addded: “Kidney disease can affect anyone of any age and I’m determined to play my part in supporting the work of Kidney Research UK, as the charity aims to help make further breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment and patient care of those affected by the disease.

“This is a cause I feel very passionately about and I’m delighted that the club has offered to sell the Kidney Research UK wristbands and badges here at Bloomfield Road.”

Kidney Research UK wristbands and pin badges can be purchased now from the Blackpool football club shop for £1.
