Fellows Day 2020

Fellows Day 2020 is cancelled

Because of the unprecedented times we are all facing due to coronavirus, we have had to make a very difficult decision and cancel this year’s Fellows Day in September.

For the health and safety of everyone, the fact we don’t know what the situation will be like in September, and because of unprecedented financial demands on the charity in these times, we have had no choice but to cancel the event.

We are so disappointed we have had to make this decision. Our annual Fellows Day is a highlight of our charity calendar, and this year would have been our 20th Fellow’s Day. We love having this opportunity to meet you all and hear about your progress. And we know our researchers look forward to this great event where they meet, share and discuss their research together.

We have never had to cancel the event before, so we really are facing unusual times.

We did consider making Fellow’s Day an online event instead, although we couldn’t commit to that for September.

We rely on our generous  supporters for our annual event.

We will keep you posted about any online plans. Do look out for news of 2021’s event, which will be a special one in the charity’s 60th birthday year!

Thank you for your understanding in these challenging times.
